Cerutti Swaps out European Chiefs at Christie's

Anthea Peers moves from private sales to Head of EMEA at Christie’s; Dirk Boll takes strategic role.

Christie’s announced this morning that Anthea Peers who was the Global Managing Director for Christie’s Private Sales would become the President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the auction house on April 4th.

Dirk Boll, who currently fills the role, will become Deputy Chairman of EMEA and will continue to work with his relationships in the business. The step up for Peers is partially in recognition of the very strong year Christie’s had in private sales in 2021. Before that she was Client Strategy Director in the Classic Art Group which is what Christie’s calls Old Masters and Antiquities.

Boll has been running EMEA since 2017. He will continue to oversee Christie’s Education, the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts for the EMEA region as well as Christie’s sustainability initiatives.
